our much anticipated and always

enjoyable Davis Cup Foundation Lunch

will celebrate Mark Edmondson

and mark the 50th anniversary of his

Australian Open win in 1976.

Fittingly the event will be held at

Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club

where Mark triumphed over fellow Aussie John Newcombe 6-7, 6-3, 7-6, 6-1 to take the title.

​

Mark went on to win five Grand Slam doubles titles and was also a regular representative for Australia in Davis Cup playing both singles and doubles between 1977 and 1985. He finished with a 19-10 win-loss record in Davis Cup.
